Our Night Sky – this was the title of the exhibition of astro-photographic photos by Michał Ostrowski, Bartosz Bujarski and me Rafał Trzebiński as part of the Astrophotography Włocławek group. The event took place at the “Browar B” Cultural Center in Włocławek, in the basement of the former brewery.
Our goal was to bring astronomy, astrophotography to life and, of course, the opportunity to present our work. We seem to have achieved this goal. The exhibition was attended by over 50 guests.
I hope we managed to get them interested in photos and stories about how this type of work is created. Michał Ostrowski talked about reflecting telescopes with which he takes planetary pictures and landscapes of the night sky. I had the pleasure to talk a bit about astronomy, the diversity and beauty of the cosmos, about the equipment used in DSO photography, the process of collecting material and of course about the astrophotographic session.
It was really very pleasant for which I sincerely thank my friends from the group and the guests present at the meeting. I would also like to thank Michał for being the leader in the organisation of this project and the “Browar B” Cultural Center for enabling us to present our works and ourselves.
